As we know, media can be a component of active learning strategies such as group discussions, research or presentation among peers. Media could be video, film clip, slides show, mindmap or more. As a student, we are allowing to create our own media. For example, doing on a video projects can be a powerful and engaging learning experience. To conclude, media engages students, attract student's retention of knowledge, motivate interest, and illustrates the relevance of many concepts, However, I just know the media is super important, powerful and useful in learning, But how, as a teacher, I am going to evaluate and access media before I integrate into my teaching materials? First, the process of evaluation media is important. As a teacher, I have to recognize and plan for diversity in students' backgrounds, learning styles, and their abilities in adapting new information. After that, I will provide opportunities to integrate knowledge, skills, attitudes related to my teaching topic. Besides, I would like my students to make decision about their own learning and I will also encourage them with collaborative learning activities. I will provide opportunities for them to do mindmap, video or presentation by using the software application with their peers. After they have done their work, instant feedback from peers will be important to let them know on what to improve.
For me, the criteria(s) of a usefulness media are simple, clear, understandable, suitable for all learners, encourage collaboration and provide instant feedback.
